Thanks - he was drying out his wings in the sun so he let me take about 20 shots in different poses until he flew off!!

Think I'm getting the flu :( Annoying as I have an 8km run to do on Sunday Grr!!

300mm lens - and he was quite close to me as well. He was more intent on trying to dry his wings in the sun, but he was keeping his eye on me to make sure I didn't come any closer :) I'm just about to upload another of him - give me 10 minutes :)

I have photographer friends who tell me spiders are good to take shots of... they like to stare RIGHT into the lens. ^.^
